Eco Bear's
Mission Statement
Our mission is to help create warmer homes, lower energy bills, and a cleaner future for the UK by making renewable energy and insulation accessible to everyone. With energy use in British homes responsible for around 17% of the nation’s carbon emissions, improving domestic efficiency remains one of the most direct and measurable ways to address the climate crisis.

Solar energy sits at the heart of that transition. Once installed, solar panels produce electricity with zero carbon emissions at the point of use. Every kilowatt-hour generated on a rooftop directly replaces electricity that would otherwise be drawn from a system still heavily reliant on fossil fuels. For the homeowner, this means long-term savings, greater energy independence, and a tangible reduction in their environmental footprint.
How can we achieve this?
The UK already sees solar provide over 10% of national electricity during peak months, and the technical potential is far greater. A typical home with a south-facing roof of roughly 15–20 square metres or more can usually support a standard 3–4 kW solar array, making solar viable for a large proportion of British properties. Even southeast and southwest orientations can deliver strong performance, extending suitability beyond perfect conditions.

Through schemes such as ECO4, LA Flex, the Great British Insulation Scheme and many others both public and private, we help households access funding for insulation, efficient heating, and — where eligible — solar technologies. Each successful installation reduces carbon output for decades and contributes to the long-term resilience of local communities.

Our goal is to raise the adoption of renewable and energy-efficient measures across the region, driving solar generation upward and cutting wasted heat in the process. By supporting homeowners through every step — from eligibility checks to installation — we are committed to building a low-carbon Britain, one home at a time.
